Her journey began in the UK Civil Service, where she led large-scale, multi-million-pound digital transformations as an IT Project Manager. As an entrepreneur, she founded Layover Adventure and Hackathon Queen. Ekua is also the author of Be Your No.1 Cheerleader, a motivational self-help book encouraging readers to pursue positive development through entrepreneurship. She has been recognized for her civic contributions with an invitation to Barack Obama’s historic Democratic nomination acceptance. She was the former co-vice-Chair for GTA Black Women in Tech.
